Uncle Sam’s Poster

Emma Kaufmann Camp is an American Camping Association accredited, child-centered environment for campers’ ages 7 to 16. Each session, the camp holds a Color War. Every team represents themselves in a poster, created by the staff of each team.

In 2016, the camp competed over which American icon to display on a hypothetical stamp. I created the White Team’s “Uncle Sam” poster. They wanted the poster to utilize flat design, look like a stamp, and express an “early twentieth century America” vibe.
